Telegraph Point traveller home planning application goes to Planning Committee on 17th July

The planning application for a traveller home at Telegraph Point will be considered by the Rother District Council planning committee on 17th July 2014.

Interested members of the public can attend (but not speak at) the meeting, which starts at 9:30am in Bexhill Town Hall.

The site address is Telegraph Point, Coldharbour Farm Estate, Battle Road, Brightling TN21 9LG

Although this planning application is technically separate from the question of allocating a permanent supply of gypsy/traveller sites, which Rother are required to do, the effect of the planning application, if approved, is likely to mean that there would be a permanent site for one traveller home at this location.

Members of the public who wish to influence the decision at this late stage can contact their local councillor, or any or all of the councillors on the planning committee.
