Edlins Farm – insertion of windows in the barn

Planning application RR/2015/2929/P is for the insertion of windows and doors in the agricultural barn at Edlins Farm, Mountfield Lane.  Clicking on the link below will take you straight to the application on Rother’s web site, where you can make a comment.  DACS takes the view that the insertion of windows would have an adverse impact on the High Weald Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

Rother have requested comments by 14 January 2016.  Comments received after this date may not be taken into account.

If planning permission is refused, then Rother District Council could take enforcement action to require the removal of the windows (which have already been installed, without planning permission).

In planning terms, the negative impact on the High Weald Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty is the most effective objection to this development.
